a little bit ago it told me that my tVirus and Spyware definitions were not up to date. Welcome, One other possible fix for the update problem would be to run the Norton Remove and reinstall Tool www.Norton.com/nrnr to insure that you have a good copy of the program HOWEVER, LiveUpdate still fails "with unknown error". AutoFix doesn't solve the problem; it simply reports "Conflict with MalwareBytes". (I understand from these forums that this conflict is no longer reported after installing NIS Ask the experts! I don't know why this worked, or what was causing the updates to fail to complete, but this simple change worked for me. Full system scan, No threats. Ask the experts! Double-click the NRnR icon. I've uninstalled and re-install the product and for 3days everything was OK and it happened again within automatically updating the product after required restart.
