I ran into a problem when I upgraded over Vista x64 to Win7 x64. 1 - I had to uninstall the VPN software and reboot the box. 2 - I had Installed Win7 Pro 64-Bit on December 16th. When using Norton ConnectSafe, you get these IP addresses quickly, plus Norton ConnectSafe performs a quick check on each site to make sure that the requested Web site is safe. Since I installed new norton 360 i loose connection to internet.
Perhaps something went wrong during the NIS install that has messed up DNS service? All the machines have at least one account in common, using the same password. We reverse the process and we get connecteed again. Any ideas?
I've attached a picture of the ipconfig/all details. I'm not sure if the OS is trying to activate, and interferring, or if that connectoid appeared as part of a Windows update, but disabling it fixed it for me instantly. As soon as I did, my DNS sprang to life! Kept noticing two wireless connectoids in my network settings. "Wireless Network Connection" is my normal wireless connectoid and was connecting fine. Several PCs and other devices, wired and wireless, connect to the same network flawlessly (including my laptop, upgraded from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7).

Mine wasn't hidden, though, so it was easy to find. Whenever I connect to one, i get the... I've tried reinstalling the wirelessnetwork card and I've tried disabling the virtual wifi miniport adapter and it's still having problems resolving dns on win 7 64 bit. Funny thing is, even NSLookup wouldn't resolve anything, yet, the DNS servers were fine.
My Win 7 computer is on a wired network and I was able to browse the net for a few mnts after the upgrade but started getting DNS Server issues.
