The number next to the letter F is how far from maximum aperture the non CPU lens is - so F6 would mean 6 stops from max aperture. The battery or the card? It took me 3.5 years to come up with it ??? I have tried taking a picture out side with ample light but lens doesnt even try to focus. BUT it seems there is definitely something wrong with your camera, if when set to continuous it will take only one image, and none in single shot. I suppose it was time for this old guy to give up.

Something went wrong on our end. It's always a good idea to format your memory card IN CAMERA after you have copied the images across to your computer. But when i deattach it , it solve the problem. Well, either way, I recently needed to find more info on these codes myself and decided to put all the info I found in one place. D80 Manual Couldn't see anything from viewfinder and from LCD display. I agree that messages r06 r09.. Switched the camera to manual focus, clicked the shutter and camera is working fine.

I changed lens countless times and even did free lensing and no more ERROR. this contact form F0 Not so much an error code, but if you see F0 on your display it means the lens hasn't been twisted all the way and locked in place.
