Will a hard reset work? bill Murray New memberUsername: BeartracksGreat falls, Montana Usa Post Number: 1Registered: Jun-07 Posted on Saturday, June 02, 2007 - 20:25 GMTMy wife just received a D70s that was upgraded by Nikon this contact form An issue that is being voiced by Nikon D70 users the world over.
I take a shot and the camera turns off. i can't take it off the shoe.. Try another lens and see what happens. If I continue to hold the shutter half way down, then release it I get Err 99.
One funny detail that added to the confusion: The two lenses that needed cleaning (AF-S 85/1.4 and 50/1.4G) worked well on my D7k even before they were cleaned. follow the instructions but take note, when the message "press the shutter-release button" is displayed and you do so, the mirror and shutter curtain should open it wont, dont give-up keep To solve it, I put the lens back on, turned off the autofocus using the manual switch and pressed the shutter release. I format each new card 2-3-4 times, and my D70S still gives me blinking FOR (format error) after a few pix, and blinking CHR (charge)even when fully charged.
The pin that engages the shoe is strictly for locking the flash to the show, and is operated by the lever on the back of the flash - directly above the If it doesn't want to stay in continuous mode, try taking the lens off paying careful attention too keeping things seriously clean and try again. The updates can be downloaded from Nikon's website. if i switch off and on, somethimes appear ERR again, somethimes nothing at all, blank display.
