They've been working beautifully together all weekend, now the camera suddenly won't recognise the card. -E- shows permanently on the display. Now, a couple of days later, my D7000 acknowledges all of the previously rejected d7000 cards just fine and I did test shots with each card--again, A-okay. I'm using a Brand New D7000 with a 16 GB SanDisk Extreme (30MB/s) Memory card. As long as you empty them regularly it's not a big deal and they aren't all that expensive!

Ran this with just a quick format and it worked straight away. Thanks for your comment, it is very much appreciated. However, this was a one off thing for me. Check This Out Today, I was shooting and I literally got up to open the blinds, came back to the camera, and the error message showed up.
If you tried to write to it, I am not sure how to rescue the card. No doubt shooting video is a different ball game, which is why I had cards that were used only for video.Click to expand...
